Penter Lab Cancer and immune cell co-evolution at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin

Visit by Jani Huuhtanen

We had a great day with Jani Huuhtanen who visited the lab and gave a wonderful overview on his impressive work at the CompCancer Colloquium.

Jani Huuhtanen, MD, PhD, is an MSCA-EMBO postdoctoral fellow focused on resolving the co-evolution between the somatic evolution of malignant cells and T-cell interactions. He combines large-scale TCR-pMHC screens from the Ton Schumacher group (Netherlands Cancer Institute) with novel single-cell genomics from the Dan Landau group (Weill Cornell Medicine, New York Genome Center). As a physician-scientist, he is determined to translate his findings into the clinic.

We also had fun in the evening with some Schnitzel.
